The best Psychic Monster there is!

Name:
Mental Sphere Archfiend

Type:
Psychic/Synchro/Effect

Effect:
1 Tuner monster + 1 or more non-Tuner monster(s)
If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle, gain Life Points equal to the original ATK of the destroyed monster. By paying 1000 Life Points, negate the activation and effect of a Spell or Trap Card that targets 1 face-up Psychic-Type monster you control and destroy it.

Rating 10/10

I almost feel justified to remove a point for the name but that is just nit picking.

Inappropriately named monster is the strongest of the new Psychic type monsters coming out in the next set.
(That answers those questions early even though I will probably have to repeat it a few times before it sets in.)

He has a negate effect that stops 2 out of 3 types of Kill cards. What makes this card the best is the fact that 99% of the new Psychic monsters have a effect that you need to pay life points to use but this is one of the only ones to have an effect that gets you back life points.

Psychic monsters pay a lot of your points to mess up your enemy's strategy and this card can both provide fuel to get its effect off and save itself from destruction. All in all a balanced and powerful card. What a rare combo.

Look for this monster in the next set

Future Monday : Gigantech Fighter

By : Ken Watkins

He is a card from one of the 5Ds starter decks.

For those that do not understand Japanese (like myself) here is the translation.

Name:
Gigantech Fighter

Type:
Warrior/Synchro/Effect

Effect:
1 Tuner monster + 1 or more non-Tuner monster(s)
This card gains ATK equal to the the number of Warrior-Type monsters in both player's Graveyard x 100. When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can select 1 Warrior-Type monster in either you or your opponent's Graveyard and Special Summon it.

Rating 9/10

I have decided to take a break from the Zombies before I start planing out a new deck and have gone back to my forte, Warriors.

Gigantech Fighter is a 8 star Synchro summon warrior will his own power up effect and revives a warrior when he is destroyed.

Good art. Nice stats. So why the power up effect? A bit over kill but I like the revival effect, it was a nice touch that turned this from a Meh card to a good card.

Look for him in the 5D's structure deck (I know I said it at the start but some people forget these things and ask me when it comes out).

Future Monday : Zombie World

"They are all dead! All of them!,"

By Kenneth Watkins

He is the most evil field spell in the game.

user posted image

For those that do not understand Japanese (like myself) here is the translation.

Name:
Zombie World

Type:
Field

Effect:
All monsters on the field and in the Graveyard are treated as Zombie-Type monsters. No monsters can be Tribute Summoned, except Zombie-Type monsters.

My rating: 10-10 (For zombie decks)

This card strengthens the zombie decks and weakens the other decks. No tribute summoning for the enemy kills many decks like monarchs but the fact all the monster types are zombies means only zombie revival and non-specified revival works.

But that is just the beginning of the evil. Remember all the monsters in the graveyard are zombies so any monster in there can be revived with Zombie revival cards. Like say Destiny hero - Disk Commander. And the new deck has a few affects that allow you to revive your enemy's monsters and use them against them. With monsters like Il Blud or Red eyes zombie.

This is a card your enemy will target fast so field barrier is a good idea for it as well.

For those that do not understand Japanese (like myself) here is the translation.

Name:
Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon

Type:
Zombie/Effect

Effect:
This card can be Tribute Summoned in face-up Attack Position by Tributing 1 Zombie-Type monster. When this card destroys a Zombie-Type monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon that monster to your side of the field.

Rating 9/10

Zombies are masters of revival and this card add a new dimension to it. Now they can recruit your enemy zombies.

But what if your enemy don't have any zombies? You can always force it on them with DNA Surgery. Or use the new field effect card in this new deck (I am not spoiling it) (Or reviewing it until a better picture of it is out).

Now how easy is it to summon? 2000 def means Pyramid Turtle works.
Call of the Mummy works too and only one tribute is needed for zombie decks. We are all painfully aware of zombie revival ability's as well. So he is never staying in the graveyard.

It is just evil! Do zombies need more support?
