By Ken Watkins

** and its not thursday its monday ** so shhhh

Sorry about being late with this. I could make up a million reasons but to tell the truth I forgot.

So without further delay I present Winged Kuriboh LV9

For those that do not understand Japanese (like myself) here is the translation.

Name:
Winged Kuriboh LV9

Type:
Fairy/Effect

Effect:
You can only control 1 "Winged Kuriboh LV9". If a chain occurs, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, all Spell Cards that would be sent to the Graveyard are removed from play instead. The ATK and DEF of this card are equal to the number of Spell Cards in your opponent's Graveyard x 500.

Rating 8/10

WK9 (as we will call him) is a interesting card. He is easy enough to summon but gets better later in the duel when opponent have had time to use some spells. But it loses two points right there. The words opponent's graveyard.

Any card that requires you opponent to do something is not that good. Add to that the fact that while WK9 is on the field he removes any new spells weakens it more.

The first condition to summon this card makes sense. If the only summon condition is to cause a chain to get him out then you can spam the field with him so the limited him to one on the field at a time balance it out.

The reason I am giving it a 8 instead of a 7 is it is a very unique card and interests me.

This card is coming out in japan in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Volume 3 set. No one knows when we are getting it.
